He is doctor in Modern Letters. Specialist in Lusophone Literatures, develops academic activities as a professor in the College of Languages Literature at the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). Specialist in the works of José Saramago, exercised the Honorary Director of José Saramago Free Chair at the College of Philosophy and Humanities at the Catholic University of Córdoba since its creation in 2007 until 2012. Dean of the same institution between 2006 and 2011, he was coordinator of Letters in the Research Centre of the College of Philosophy and Humanities, National University of Cordoba between 2005 and 2006. He is author of La Caverna de José Saramago: una imagen dialéctica. From the study group on the work of José Saramago, he is one of the main idealists and organizers of Apuntes Saramaguianos collection already on the seventh and the edited volume and of Diccionario de personajes saramaguianos.
