Erotismo e poder feminino em três romances de Saramago

Propomos analisar, com este estudo, o erotismo manifestado pelas personagens femininas em três romances de José Saramago: Caim (2009), O evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo, (1998) e O ano da morte de Ricardo Reis, (2013). Sobretudo, lançaremos luz às figuras de Lilith e Eva; Maria, mãe de Jesus e Maria de Magdala; e Lídia, dos respectivos romances. Essas personagens criadas por Saramago são elaboradas como sujeitos de corpos que sentem tudo que pode ser advindo do humano, desfocando-se, portanto, de uma moral religiosa e social, constituídas a partir do cerceamento dos desejos femininos; elaborando e revelando espaços, antes ocupados somente pelo sujeito masculino. A literatura portuguesa, considerando poucas exceções, sempre refletiu na ficção o espaço social tipicamente de um lugar machista e misógino, alargando o escamoteamento dos desejos sentidos por mulheres. As personagens femininas sempre foram castigadas quando ousaram sair dos lugares impostos a elas. Diante disso, abordaremos nos referidos romances de José Saramago, especialmente, o universo erótico dessas personagens femininas, evidenciando a revolução causada por este escritor ao colocar em seus romances mulheres com corpos desejantes, para além disso, elas são personagens que sentem e que realizam seus gozos, não importando, portanto, o espaço social em que estão inseridas, nem tampouco o que se desenhava como comportamento feminino adequado para elas.

This study aims to analyze the erotism portraited by female characters from three novels by José Saramago:  Caim (2009), O evangelho segundo Jesus Cristo, (1998) e O ano da morte de Ricardo Reis, (2013). We will highlight, specially, the female figures of Lilith and Eva; Maria, mother of Jesus, Maria de Magdala; and Lídia, from the corresponding novels. Those characters created by Saramago are elaborated as subject of body who feel every single thing which are part of the human beings, staying away, consequently, from the social and religious moral, created based on the restriction of the female desires; elaborating and highlighting spaces occupied, previously, by the male subject. The Portuguese Literature, pointing out some exceptions, always reflected in the fiction the social space typically originated from a chauvinist and misogynistic place, enlarging the usurpation of the desire felt by women. The female characters were always punished when they dare to escape from the places which were force to them. Taking all that in mind, we will approach on those novels by José Samarago, specifically, the erotic universe of those female characters, putting in evidence the revolution caused by that writer when he created novel in which women present a body with desire; besides that, those women are characters who feel and achieve their pleasure, without worrying, therefor, about the social space in which they are inserted, or about what is portrayed as the adequate female behavior.
